A material with a story

Every rug in the IBIZA BY IZA collection begins as a discarded plastic bottle.

Plastic waste is one of the main pollutants of our oceans, including the Mediterranean that surrounds Ibiza. Through recycling and traditional craftsmanship, these bottles become durable fibers, hand-woven into rugs built to last for years.

A collection inspired by the sea and created from a material that helps protect it.

About the founder

Izadora Andare

Izadora Andare is an interior designer and founder of BY IZA. For nearly a decade she has created handcrafted rugs that combine design, authenticity and timelessness.

In IBIZA BY IZA, she translates her connection with Ibiza into a collection inspired by the landscapes and atmosphere of the island. Rugs made 100% by hand in Brazil with recycled PET yarn, turning materials that could have polluted the sea into pieces designed to stand the test of time.
